Thank Your Cleaner Day
Thank Your Cleaner Day is a special day once a year that we dedicate to all cleaning workers. It was first celebrated in 2015 by New Zealand's professional cleaning services body, Building Service Contractors, to thank the people who keep our workplaces clean, safe and hygienic.
The ceremonial appreciation of nominated cleaning workers will take place on October 18, 2023 in 50 countries, including the Czech Republic. The organization and support of Thank Your Cleaner Day in the Czech Republic is also provided by the IFMA International Facility Management Association and CAC Czech Cleaning Association. Customers and other employees can once again show their appreciation for cleaning workers by leaving a message, giving a small gift, or simply saying "Thank you". Many workers who keep our workplaces clean and safe do their job in the evenings or on weekends and rarely get to meet those they do it for. Thank Your Cleaner Day was established to acknowledge the work and dedication of these professionals whom we rely on every day. We encourage not only managers but also regular employees to share materials provided on the website www.thankyourcleanerday.com on their workplaces and social media using the hashtag thankyourcleanerday to raise awareness of the valuable contribution of these cleaning workers and encourage others to express their gratitude as well.
